How Much Does SEO Cost in Singapore?

A plain look at SEO pricing in Singapore — the ranges agencies advertise, what the money actually buys, and why the cheapest quote is usually the dearest.

Most Singapore SEO agencies advertise monthly retainers somewhere between a few hundred and several thousand dollars, with the bulk of small-business packages sitting in the S$500 to S$5,000 range. The right number for you depends on how competitive your keywords are, the state of your current website, and how quickly you need results.

The honest range

Look across the agencies ranking for "seo singapore" today and you will see the same picture: entry packages advertised from a few hundred dollars, mid-tier retainers around S$1,000 to S$3,000, and specialist or high-competition work quoted well above that. These are observations of what is on the market, not a benchmark you should hold anyone to — the word "SEO" covers very different scopes at each price, and a S$600 package and a S$6,000 package are usually different services rather than the same service at two prices.

What the range does tell you is this: price alone says almost nothing. Two quotes at the same number can buy wildly different amounts of actual work.

What you are actually paying for

A monthly SEO retainer is mostly labour and judgement, not software. In a real engagement the fee covers keyword and competitor research, on-page work (titles, structure, internal links, schema), content that answers what buyers search for, technical fixes that let Google crawl and trust the site, off-page work to build authority, and the reporting that keeps it all honest. Strip any of those out and the price drops — along with the result.

This is also why we quote by outcome and competition rather than by a fixed menu. Ranking a diesel supplier in a niche B2B category and ranking an e-commerce store against dozens of funded competitors are not the same job, and pretending they cost the same helps nobody.

The cheapest SEO is usually the most expensive, because you pay for it twice — once for the package, and again to undo it.

Why cheap SEO is often the costly option

Very low-priced packages tend to rely on automated tactics: thin generated pages, low-quality links, and reporting that shows movement on keywords nobody searches. Six months in, the rankings that matter have not moved, and sometimes the site has picked up problems that take real work to clean up. You have spent the money and lost the time, which for most businesses is the more expensive of the two.

Good SEO is patient and compounding. It costs more per month because it is done by people making decisions, and it is worth more because the asset it builds keeps working after the invoice is paid.

How we price it

We keep three tiers. Starter at S$1,000 a month suits a focused local or single-service business. Growth at S$3,000 a month is where most serious campaigns sit and is the one we usually recommend. Dominate at S$5,000 a month is for competitive categories where the top position is worth defending. Final deliverables are confirmed before we begin, so you are never guessing what a tier includes. You can see the current breakdown on our SEO packages page.

One thing sets our pricing apart. Where most agencies bolt SEO onto whatever website you already have, we can build the website together with the SEO package — architecture, content, schema, and speed optimised from the start rather than patched on afterwards. For many businesses that removes the single biggest hidden cost in SEO: paying a second time to fix a site that was never built to rank.

If budget is the constraint, that is a conversation worth having openly. We work with smaller businesses through affordable, focused SEO plans that put the whole fee behind one or two keywords that can actually move the business, rather than spreading it thin across twenty that cannot.

The number that matters

The useful question is not "what does SEO cost" but "what is one more ranked keyword worth to this business, and how long until it pays for itself?" For a diesel supplier we took from position #19 to #2, the answer ran to over S$8 million in revenue generated — which reframes the monthly fee entirely.
